What is Yuva Unstoppable?

• Yuva Unstoppable was started in 2005 as India’s premier youth movement with a goal to make young people kinder.

• Yuva provides a platform for the young people of this country to contribute just 2 hours a week and make a difference at orphanages, municipal schools, handicap homes, old age homes etc. through education, healthcare and affection.

• Apart from volunteering Yuva-ites also indulge in acts of kindness: give free hugs to strangers, gift ice creams to traffic police, organize food and clothing drives for the destitute.

• 8000 volunteers across 14 cities.

• Over 200,000 total volunteer hours put in since inception on July 4th, 2005. • Narendra Modi, Mallika Sarabhai, Vimal Ambani, Devang Nanavati (Lead India

fame), Berkeley, Yale University, IIM-A, Arun Jaitley, R.K. Mishra, & Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra amongst others have appreciated Yuva’s work directly.

• Corporate Tie-ups with Microsoft, Times of India’s Teach India campaign, MphasiS, Torrent, Arvind Mills, Claris, Joy of Giving week ‘09, Chicken Soup for the Soul, Pantaloons, amongst others.

• ‘Friends of Yuva’ Team includes Ravi Venkatesan, KV Kamath, Imtiaz Ali and Ajay Piramal.

What is MSP?

• MSPs are representatives of Microsoft in the student sector.

• An MSP is a part of the Student Outreach program of Microsoft aimed at tapping the potential in the budding generation of software professionals.

• You command high respect in the technical community through various activities like formation of Tech Clubs, conduction of Developer Conferences and much more.

• Not only are you on the fore-front on the technical domain, but also on the marketing and strategy front through a number of activities.

• You are the people who can have an impact on a large number of people and through that impact, in turn, can reach out to the masses.

YuvaMSP

YuvaMSP strives to empower the less privileged through education.

YuvaMSP aims to educate at least 1 lakh under privileged children by December 2010.

How will YuvaMSP achieve this?

• MSP will execute a plan to educate under-privileged children by motivating students to volunteer to take up community service.

• Yuva will guide them throughout the procedure and help them with all the resources they will require.

Why Be a YuvaMSP?

• Opportunities to increase your MSP points.

• Transforming thoughts into actions and actions into impact A learning experience no book can teach.

• 20 points for each YuvaMSP meet you have in your STC/College and for every YuvaMSP Chapter you set up(you can have 2 meet-ups a month for each STC : 40 points)

• 20 points for going on ground and teaching a minimum of 15 students for 1 hour (Up to 8 hours a month can be submitted)Think 2 hours every Sunday : Total 160 points

Thus it easily translates into 200 points a month!

Point Systems for MSPs

For MSPs:• Yuva-Microsoft certificate at the end of 4 successful

months.• Yuva-Microsoft Letter of Recommendation at the end of 10

successful months.

For volunteers:• Yuva-Microsoft certificate at the end of 4 successful

months.

For the beneficiaries/kids:• A certificate from Yuva-Microsoft at the successful

completion of their course under the YuvaMSP banner.
