 Youth  Tackle  Football  Teams:    Play  &  Tour  Cowboys  Stadium  

 

   Play:  Texas  Alumni  Football  Youth  Red  Zone  Games  

• Start  on  20  Yard  Line.  Play  on  one  half  of  field.  • Play  approx  50  minutes  vs.  one  team  or  two  25  minute  games  vs.  two  teams.  • Games  take  place  before  an  adult  Texas  Alumni  Football  game.  

 Tour:  Self-­‐Guided  Tour  for  Players  &  Families  

• Start  your  Self-­‐Guided  tour  in  the  Cowboys  Stadium  Pro  Shop.  Self-­‐guided  tours  give  you  access  to  the  field,  the  Cowboys  and  Cheerleaders  locker  room,  the  Miller  Lite  Club  and  the  post-­‐game  interview  room.  

• Knowledgeable  Tour  Guides  are  stationed  in  each  area  to  provide  you  with  information  and  answer  your  questions  about  the  stadium.  

• On  the  field,  we  invite  you  to  throw  passes,  run  around  and  take  pictures  at  your  leisure.    A  photo  station  will  be  at  midfield  for  fans  to  get  their  picture  taken  on  the  famous  star.

Youth  Tackle  Football  Red  Zone  Games  Rules    

1. Ball  starts  on  20  yard  line.  Play  on  one  side  of  field.  

2. First  down  is  10  yard  line.  

3. Turnover  results  in  dead  ball.  

4. Running  clock  with  exception  of  last  minute  in  each  half.  

5. No  timeouts.  

6. Coaches  allowed  on  field  and  in  huddle.  

7. Players  on  bench  can  take  knee  on  the  field  (not  on  sideline)  on  side  of  hash  

between  35  and  45yard  line.    

8. TD’s  6  pts,  Extra  Pts  1.    No  Field  Goals  Allowed.  

9. Coin  toss  to  determine  who  gets  ball  just  between  coaches  

 

50  min  games=Two  22  minutes  halves  

25  min  games=Two  11  minute  halves  

         

                         

           

Helpful  Tips/Info/FAQ’s    

1. Teams  should  take  all  stuff  with  them  (balls,  water,  equipment)  

directly  down  to  the  field  as  soon  as  the  tour  begins  and  appoint  

one  person  to  watch  all  their  stuff.  

2. Most  teams  seemed  to  enjoy  meeting  as  a  group  first  outside  of  

Entry  A  and  then  doing  the  tour  together  as  a  group.  

3. Take  a  team  picture  on  the  star.  

4. You  could  stay  together  as  a  team  at  same  hotel  the  night  before.    

We  have  a  group  rate  of  $105  per  night  at  the  Sheraton  Hotel  in  

Arlington  for  everyone  who  is  participating  in  the  November  4th  

games.  FYI:  We  checked  the  price  on  KAYAK  and  on  Sheraton  

website  and  it  looks  like  we  are  getting  a  great  deal!  Call  to  

reserve  a  room,  be  sure  to  mention  the  event  you  are  coming  in

5. There  will  be  concessions  at  the  game,  food  and  beverages  other  

than  water  for  players  is  not  allowed  in  the  stadium.  

6. Parking  is  free,  park  at  ENTRY  A  by  the  Pro-­‐Shop.  

7. Cameras  are  allowed,  however,  video  cameras  are  not.
