What is CHRISTIAN
Commitment for you?
Pamilyar ba kayo sa mga pangungusap na ito?
• They talk the talk, but doesn’t walk the walk.
Do you remember the story of the
Chicken and Pig?
A chicken and a pig were walking down the road together. They passed a sign for a local diner advertising its breakfast special: “Ham and Eggs – $2.95!” The chicken said, “That’s our whole contribution to society: breakfast food!”
The pig replied, “For you, it may be a contribution. For me it’s a total commitment.”
Contribution is far different from COMMITMENT
Do you know that GOD commits
Himself for you?John 15:1313 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
Now, If God gives His life for you, what would you
offer to Him?
It is our commitment. And commitment is
offering your life to Him
Isaiah 26: 4So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages]. Proverbs 16:3aRoll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him;
The HEART of Commitment
is not just in our hearts, but in ACTION
