The Summer Garden definitively proved to be an excellent idea. Since it was opened on 21

June 2019, Summer Garden has been crowded. Public talks, movie screenings, concerts,

pub quiz and board games were finally available to young people during summer months. It

is estimated that more than 1000 young people attended events, participated in the

program or use other services available over the course of summer. The summer season

was officially ended on September 30.

incredible event they call "Photo Week."

In 2017 Photo Week takes place from

February 10-17th in Dubai. If you happen 

Couple of young people from Zajecar reached

out to Youth Center representatives with an

idea to organize a Pub Quiz. Quiz initially

attracted many people, while in summer

garden it became one of the most attractive

events for young people in Zajecar! Its

organizers made one step further – they

started donating funds collected from

participation fees for charity purposes in the

community! Thus, they are both promoting

knowledge and contributing to a better

community! 

Zajecar Initiative has announced a

call for new volunteers – members

of the Youth Center’s Board.

Twelve young people applied in

total, getting the opportunity to

actively participate in the design of

Center’s programs and

implementation of events as well

as to initiate new activities on their

own. Zajecar Initiative seeks also

to engage these young people in its

other activities.

The drummer is only 9-year old,

and the oldest band member is 16.

Their name is Chemtrails and they

made their first solo gig in Youth

Center’s summer garden on 20

September. Unlike most of their

peers, they are not fond of

discotheques and folk music. They

took guitars and drums instead and

started covering famous rock hits!

Their 90-minute performance has

made audience fascinated.
