Prerequisite: A good Supervision!

You have a commitment with your thesis advisor “Doktorvater/-mutter”

The Promotion Committee of your faculty has agreed to your promotion

You are enrolled as a doctoral student at Humboldt-Universität



Planning the Promotion

• Agree with your thesis advisor on regular consultations!

• Set up a detailed work plan - usually for 3 years!

• If necessary: another year to learn the language and to get to know the German scientific system!

• Discuss those things with your thesis advisor !
