  • Last Minute Checklist for GroomsBrides spend a lot of time planning their weddings down to every last detail.

    We at your online wedding planner noticed, however, that grooms are not always quite as on top of the small stuff.

    Since brides are already so busy, we wanted to help grooms get better organized {so brides dont have to nag them!}.

    A Fresh Haircut: The groom doesnt need to spend all morning in the salon like the bride likely will, but he does need a fresh haircut before the big day. Given how busy the last few days before a wedding typically are, the groom should go for a haircut the weekend before the wedding. That way he will look neat for the rehearsal dinner and any other pre-wedding festivities. And guys, even if you normally get your haircuts on your lunch hour at the local walk-in place, consider spending a little more to get a top quality haircut at a salon that caters to men.

    The results will be worth the extra cash.

    Wrong There is one thing that doesnt

    necessarily come with a tux rental: the black dress socks.

    Think no man could overlook socks for his wedding day? Well my husband did!

    The morning of our wedding, he was scrambling around looking for a store in our small town with dress socks in stock. Or if your groom is wearing a suit and wants socks with a bit more

    personality, such as argyle, make sure he remembers to pick up a new pair

    for the wedding day.

    Dress Socks: . This might sound silly, but if your fiance rents his tuxedo, it will come with the suit, the shirt, and maybe even the shoes so he thinks he is all set, right?

  • Pack a Bag for the Honeymoon:

    Last but not least, be sure to pack for your honeymoon trip!

    Remember to bring your passport if traveling internationally.

    Not headed out of town right after the wedding?

    Then pack an overnight bag for your honeymoon, along with clothes to wear to

    brunch the next morning.

    A Gift for the Bride: In case you didnt know, many grooms give their brides a little gift on the

    morning of the wedding.

    You can be sure that your bride knows about it, so it is a good idea to pick up

    a little something special.

    If you do not plan to do a first look, it is customary to have the gift delivered

    to the bride where she will be getting ready. Jewelry is the most traditional

    wedding day gift, whether it is something for the bride to wear with her

    gown, or a classic piece (perhaps monogrammed with her new initials?)

    that she can wear every day.

    The Wedding Rings: Where are they? Did you hide them in a safe place That will be impossible to remember on the morning of the wedding? First of all, make sure you locate the wedding bands. Second of all, remember to bring them to the ceremony! If you are not having a ring bearer, put both wedding bands together in one box and give them to your best man to hold. He can keep them in the inside pocket of his jacket until it is time for the ring exchange.
