Kung Fu Panda Cootie Catcher Your Kung Fu Master ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Time to Complete: Approximately 15 minutes Level: Easy

GETTING STARTED Materials: • Scissors or X-ACTO knife • Cutting mat (optional) • Pen or pencil

1. Using scissors or an X-ACTO knife and cutting mat, cut out pieces on solid lines.

2. Remove your cootie catcher square.

ASSEMBLE THE COOTIE CATCHER

3. Fold your square, printed side in, corner to corner to create a diagonal crease.

4. Repeat with opposite side.

5. Turn your square over, then fold each of the four corners in so their points touch the center.

6. Turn your square back over. Again, fold each of the four corners in so their points touch the center.

7. Fold your square in half. Unfold and fold in half the other way.

8. Slide your thumbs and index fingers under the four flaps.

9. Pinch together to create the flower-like shape of your cootie catcher.

10. PLAYING INSTRUCTIONS

• Before playing the game, handwrite fortunes such as “be a hero” or answers such as “it is not so” in the spaces provided in the art (pictured left).

• To play, first have a player choose a number on one of the top panels. • Open and close the cootie catcher counting out the number selected. • The player then selects one of the two animals printed on the inside. • Have the player ask a question out loud. • Then, open the panel under the animal chosen to reveal the answer. • Play again and again.
