results following cataractsurgery and for those withvery high prescriptions (notsuitable for LASIK) and alsoage-related blurred readingvision (presbyopia).

These lenses are known asmultifocal or accommodatinglenses and they too replace thenatural lens within the eye.Many people with these lensesfind that they no longer needglasses, whilst others reportwearing glasses occasionally,

but enjoying the fact that theyare no longer dependent onthem.

And, thanks to a referral byher GP to see Tayo Akingbehinat iSIGHT, past-patient of theclinic, Patricia Dawson,became the first person toreceive a brand new type ofmultifocal lens implant inDecember 2008.
