Welcome to Consulation Supplies, specialists in the import, manufacture and distribution of electro-mechanical insulating materials.
We stock, supply and distribute a wide range of insulating materials for the following markets: armature winders, transformer manufacturers, engineering works, DC Traction, AC High Voltage and element manufacturers. Our products include polymers, transformer kits, insulation kits, machined components; we also have an onsite conform machine where we extrude copper and aluminum to size.
We also have machining and manufacturing capability that enables us to supply and add value to the end product. Our materials are backed by specification sheets and test certificates where applicable. We have qualified staff, engineers and management with more than 90 years of collective experience in the industry.
Consulation Supplies has four divisions focusing respectively on conductors, transformers, insulation and polymers in order to provide comprehensive professional services in all sectors of the electro-mechanical insulating environment.
Established in 2007 as a privately owned enterprise, Consulation Supplies has developed a supply chain of leading international and local manufacturers that enables us to import and supply quality products at competitive prices. We source new products that are in demand and stock sufficient levels based on customer requirements.
Our continued growth is due to our focus on the products we sell and the clients we serve by building long term relationships. We operate across South Africa and the African continent.

Consulation Supplies is diversified into four specialised divisions:
• Wire division Enamels (round), textiles (bare, mica, paper, glass yarn).
• Transformer division Kit manufacture for both dry type and air cooled transformers, corrugation, blocking, strips, duct wrap, slit to size, T strip, dovetail strip, clack spacer, cylinders, collars and stress rings, etc.
• Insulation division Repair kits for traction motors, dry type transformers, cable kits and slit to size, etc.
• Polymer Division Local manufacturing of varnishes, resins, paints, putty, degreasers and primers.
