Digital hearing aids convert natural sounds into coded signals, process and refi ne the signals, then send the improved sound into the ear. They can be programmed to emphasize sounds in certain frequencies and block out unwanted noise more effectively, allowing for improved hearing and understanding.

Feedback Cancellation – Technologythat monitors the hearing aid for feedback (whistling). When detected, the whistling willbe reduced or eliminated.
