1) Tell us a bit about your business. What makes you
unique in comparison to your competitors?
Social Media Maiden is a full service marketing company that
specializes in social media. We work with clients in several
different ways. We do one-on-one consulting to give people the
tools they need to manage their social media, we do management
services on behalf of companies who don’t have the time or desire
to manage their online marketing, and we also do company
training on social media management. Our service variety and the
fact that we focus and specialize in small business is what makes
us unique.
2) Is there anything new and exciting you’d like to share
with our community?
Social Media Maiden is working on class schedules that
will be taught at various times and days on different social media
topics. Stay tuned for more information on those classes! We are
also working on launching an exciting new product for small
business owners early next year.
3) What’s your favorite thing about doing business here in
Evergreen?
My favorite thing about doing business in Evergreen is working
with the plethora of small businesses that do business here and
the fact that we are such a close community. I love being able to
see clients and people that I know at various events and even at
the grocery store. It gives you a sense of really being connected
with the community, which I really like.
4) What does the term “Live Locally” mean to you?
The term “Live Locally” means that you look within our community
when doing business, making purchases, etc and keep your
money locally. I love living locally and being able to both work and
live in this great community!

Have you cleaned up your property and are ready to unload all that tree debris? Load it up and bring it to Jefferson County's 2015 Slash Collection Program. The program kicks off May 30-31 at the county's Evergreen Road and Bridge Shop, 30846 Lewis Ridge Road. This is the first of 26 collections that are happening this summer throughout the county. All the collections will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The slash collections are open to all Jeffco residents and cost $20 per load, credit cards only. A load is considered a truck bed full to the truck cab height, a trailer up to 8' x 4'. Loads larger than this will be charged as more than one load. All processed material will be hauled to compost yards for further re-use of the material. So what can you bring? Slash is considered tree debris such as limbs and pine needles. But please bag your needles and bark, loose loads cannot be accepted. Keep your tree limbs under eight feet and less than six inches in diameter. Commercial refuse and construction materials will not be accepted. Also we cannot accept household trash, tree stumps, metal, rocks and grass clippings. Below are the areas and dates. Collections are in different locations within each area. Visit www.jeffco.us/slash for exact locations, addresses and for more details.
