13 tips to help you conquer the Young Friends Pub Crawl

Tip 1: Check in and grab your wristband & lanyard. Without these, you won’t be known as part of the group and you surely don’t want to miss out on the food & drinks as we go!

Tip 2: If it’s a stop that is offering up something tasty to try, hit the food table before everyone else. Who wants to be the one that shows up last to the best spot in the place!?

Tip 3: Stop to take pictures with friends, new & old, along the way. You’ll love looking back at this night in the future and relive all the fun you had on the Pub Crawl.

Tip 4: If the weather is looking to take a dip, finding a seat inside is key to keeping the fun going. If there’s standing room only, that’s okay, too. Remember, you’re making memories!

Tip 5: But, if you have to be outside during a chilly Pub Crawl, find a spot near the outside heaters, if they have them.

Tip 6: Brush up on your Osceola County History. There will be trivia questions at each stop with your chance to win something at the end of the evening.

Tip 7: Showing up late to the Pub Crawl? That’s okay! Just be sure to have a friend save you spot when you do finally catch up. Can you tell who’s the one doing the spot saving in this one?!

Tip 8: Enjoy the live music on the crawl, and be sure to bring a buck or two to throw in that ol’ guitar players case. We’re sure he’ll appreciate it at the end of the night!

Tip 9: Make funny faces, laugh and just have a good ol’ time with your friends. Especially if there’s a camera around. How else are we going to make a slideshow for next year’s event if you don’t?!

Tip 10: No BYOB necessary on this special night! !There will be plenty of stops to get a good drink in & a few places hosting after hours events, too! We promise, you’ll have a good time with all that is already planned.

Tip 11: If you get really hungry, there are plenty of places to stop as you go to get a real dinner (although we think you’ll find a lot to eat from the restaurants and bars that are participating!).

Tip 12: If the alcoholic beverages are making you a little tipsy, sober up with something different. There should be a few spots offering coffee or other non-alcoholic things (like food!) to help with this.

Tip 13: At the end of the night, remember to grab your best group of friends, whether they be old friends or new ones you met along the way, and snap a picture or two. Maybe even share it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and add a hashtag—like, #YFPubCrawl14
