Storytime sessions are for children aged 2 - 5 years and their parents or carers. Each session is planned around a new theme each week and features stories read or told, rhymes, songs and a simple craft activity. Storytime not only provides the opportunity to enjoy the best in young children's literature, but also a valuable social experience in an informal, but structured environment. Each session is free. No bookings required. Everyone is welcome. Saturday session is a repeat of the Thursday program.

Toddler Tales is a special 9 week story session program for children aged 18 - 30 months old, designed to introduce language, literature and the library to toddlers and their parents. Runs 4 times a year. Bookings are necessary.

Baby Rhyme Time includes rhymes and songs for 0–2 years, and is held every Wednesday during the school term at 9.30 am. Baby Rhyme Time is free and no bookings are required.
