This school year was definitely a little weird, but hopefully being in middle school wasn’t what you had feared.

You took tests, and quizzes, and ate cafeteria food, and did it all, mostly in a good mood.

But as soon as we were getting into making new friends, all of a sudden our time at school and with them ends.

We had to stay home and take care of our health, with teachers on Zoom yelling, “Unmute yourself!”

But you kept it together and did what you needed to do, and now it’s almost summer and your sixth grade year is nearly through.

So good luck in 7th grade and always try, try, try: you made it through a crazy school year, so hold your head high.

Even though we weren’t together at school to celebrate in June, I’ll never forget you and I hope to see you soon! Mr. Lipscomb
