We often see celebrities standing up for equal-ity and womans rights from Emma Watson to Jane Fonda, but recently more and more celebri-ties are speaking out for the cause including the younger generation. The 19-year-old Everything, Everything actress Aman-dla Stenberg recently spoke out for feminism and Black culture and Rowan Blanchard shuts down derogatory ques-tions. Both Rowan & Amandla were named feminists of the year in 2015. These young wom-an are seen as the next generation of feminism and if these powerful woman are seen as the fu-ture of feminism then the

Amandla rightly feels black female voices need to be uplifted within the mainstream feminist movement especially now.

Young actress Rowan Blanchard aged 16 re-cently joined a march for womans rights across Washington, Where she took to the podium to address thousands of people both children and adults. The young ac-tress has a powerful voice that makes her hard to ignore Rowan made her generation proud as she talked about the morals many of us share and how her generation cannot vote on political points but they will actively make their voice heard.
