conference is quickly filling up and we now have more energy and momentum than ever before! Spring is finally in the air and we are gearing up for our Spring Trade Show where you can exhibit your products and services in the Garden Court during the social / networking hour prior to our April meeting. We will be inviting new and interested members to our New Members Meeting on March 23, have outstanding speakers lined up for the balance of the year ….and will welcome a new board of directors in early May. March 8 marked the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day. Thousands of events were held across the globe celebrating the achievements of women while recognizing that we still have roads to build. Truly an incredible year for women!

WBN Board Nominations The WBN is run by a volunteer board of up to 12 directors. The commitment necessary to successfully serve the WBN membership is approximately 15 to 20 hours per month fulfilling the duties of the role including attendance at monthly and special board meetings throughout the year, and attendance at membership meetings from September through June.Nominations are currently being sought for the following upcoming Board vacancies: Newsletter, Publicity, Director at Large, Membership, Social and Program. Cindy Lukawesky-Dowdle will run for a second term. Please keep in mind that a nomination is to the board, not to a specific position, however, there is an opportunity to list first and second choices on the nomination form.
