Rasa Bubulyte opens the Youth on the Move event at Satta Outside Festival. The artist and Youth on the Move Ambassador for Lithuania talks about her experience and the insight she gained while studying abroad, and why she feels it’s so important for young Europeans to take part in mobility education programmes. Come and meet her!

Want to live and work in another country but aren’t sure where to start? EURES can give you all the information you need, as they present one of their most exciting projects called Your First EURES Job. Join a helpful Q & A session, followed by a brainstorming about how to �nd your �rst job abroad. Extra bonus - the most active and creative participant will be awarded special EURES gifts! Get involved and go home with armloads of great prizes!

Calling all nature lovers! Take part in Forest for All – All for Forest and discover yourself through nature and the people around you. It’s a fun and engaging workshop about European forests that is organised by the Vilnius Adult Learning Centre. You’ll also hear about cool opportunities to volunteer for nature conservation projects all over Europe!

Are you ready to �nd out about an exciting career opportunity? Students from the Lithuanian Police School invite you to have a great time by participating in their animated interactive discussion. You are also welcome to visit their exhibition about the mobility education projects the school o�ers.

The Youth Development Centre presents an informal talk about the International Awards for Young People. Find out what programmes are available to you and ask information about how to participate!

Curious about Erasmus? Now is your chance to ask questions and prepare for your own international journey towards gaining new skills and competences, with Erasmus students from Klaipeda University. They share their experiences of studying and living abroad through a Q & A session with the audience.

Chill out lounge. Come and see a selection of inspiring video clips being screened at the Youth on the Move tent throughout the evening. Among them: Erasmus stories from students, testimonials from Youth on the Move Ambassadors from all over the EU, Euronews and other videos about education and mobility projects.

Have you heard of techno-ecology? It’s a new approach to social, cultural and environmental sustainability. Nida Art Colony, a project by Vilnius Academy of Arts attracts around 50 artists and 300 students from all over the world, who come to live and work together in Nida each year. Explore why dance is not only fun, but also a good way to train your mind and body. Learn some great techniques to improve emotional intelligence, body language, and self-expression through dancing. And for the grand �nale…a break dance performance and lesson!

Come and hear about the �ndings of a two-year study on cheating at higher education schools, the Index of Academic Integrity 2013. Have you ever imagined yourself in another European country? The European Commission, as part of the European Year of Citizens, brings your visions to life with two special activities. One is called Filmbook, where you can choose costumes from di�erent eras around Europe. Then you’ll be �lmed in a studio, and receive a very special souvenir – a mini book! The other captures your image in 3-D and sends you travelling to check out local fashions and culture in di�erent EU destina-tions. This time the souvenir is a printed cartoon!Lots of laughs are guaranteed. These activities are open to the public at the Youth on the Move tent on Friday 9 August and Saturday 10 August (13.00-20.00).

Get to know YoM Ambassador for Lithuania, Rasa Bubulytė. This well-known singer shares her stories and experiences of working and studying abroad during the Youth on the Move event. Come and meet her on Friday 9 August (14.00 – 14.20) and on Saturday 10 August (17.50-18.00) at the Youth on the Move tent.

Do you really want to broaden your perspectives? The Living Library is a method of informal education that encourages social awareness, tolerance and respect for human rights. Participate in the Living Library sessions on Friday 9 August and on Saturday 10 August.

In these sessions, you, the “reader”, choose a Living Book – a person from a vulnerable social group who is open to talking about their situation and the discrimination they often face. The reader learns all about the life of the person and the session undoubtedly ends with smiles and a new friendship.

Develop your creativity and imagination by participating in a ceramics class organised by the Black Ceramics Centre. Don´t miss the opportunity to create your own works of art on Friday 9 August (15.00 to 16.00) at the Youth on the Move tent.

Study in Lithuania

There’s a lot to learn in Lithuania! The Education Exchanges Support Foundation presents their project "Study in Lithuania" through an informative stand and videos. It o�ers valuable information about studying possibilities in Lithuania and explains the country's higher education system - you'll be surprised by what you didn't know about it!

Dance Workshop

The Independent Dancers group from the A. Pulka Physical Theatre from Vilnius comes to the event with two very special dance workshops.

Join them at two workshops on Saturday: �rst, from 14.00 to 15.00 for an introduction to dance improvisation, and then from 16.00 to 17.00 for a bodywork session! And don’t forget to bring a friend!
