Nuevo Pudahuel launches complimentary yoga
sessions at Santiago airport AMB
Santiago, July 2016 – As Chile’s most important airport, we have received over 17 million
passengers in 2015. This figure increases daily and we could surpass 18 million passengers by the
end of the year. Nuevo Pudahuel has developed a myriad of services to improve the passenger
experience, such as complimentary WiFi, free e-books, an assistance service for reduced mobility
passengers, ambience music and a new app for mobile devices. The concessionaire is constantly
innovating, and this is why we will be offering complimentary yoga sessions in the international
departures lounge, starting on the 25th of July.
The sessions will take place on gate 15 three times a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays
during passenger peak hours (17:30 to 19:00), and will be led by professionals from three different
yoga centres: Savittar Ltd, IDH and Mahatma Yoga. The instructors are fully knowledgeable in the
benefits that can be achieved through this ancient practice and will demonstrate relaxation
techniques to passengers facing travel times of up to 14 hours.
Nuevo Pudahuel invites each and every passenger to transform their trip into a new experience,
providing the tools to board their flight happy and relaxed, and making the most of their time at
the airport. Santiago airport AMB is the first airport in South America to offer complimentary yoga
sessions.
