• Measures to develop entrepreneurship education primarily originate in the regional and local levels.

Investing in entrepreneurship education is one of the highest return investments Europe can make.
The Member States are invited to offer the opportunity to young people to have at least one practical entrepreneurial experience before leaving compulsory education, such as running a mini-company, being responsible for an entrepreneurial project for a company or a social project.
YES activities pursue the Programme of Sipilä’s Government 2015–2019
”Finland must become a society founded on know-how, entrepreneurship, equality and caring.”
Government-term objectives: ”Dialogue between educational institutions and working life is more active.”
”The Government will promote a change in the role of the municipality of the future, from an arranger of services to increasingly a promoter of vitality, entrepreneurship and employment in its area.”
Programme of Sipilä's Government (p. 6, 16, 30)
(continued)“The learning methods and environments in basic education will be updated to meet the challenges posed by the latest developments. The future knowledge base will be emphasised.”
“New pedagogical approaches will be introduced. Development programmes for teacher training and continuing professional education will be launched.”
“The status of vocational education in society will be improved. A regionally comprehensive education network will be preserved and interaction will be enhanced between educational institutions and working life.”
Programme of Sipilä's Government (Knowledge and Education, p. 6, 16–17, 30)
