three lifts and stairs• Provision for accessible parking within the car park• Provision for Kiss ‘n’ Ride car parking• Improved access to the platforms.
Request for Project Change (RfPC)As part of the upgrade, the project team is proposing an upgrade to the pedestrian bridge including an additional connection over Fairfield Road. The additional connection over Fairfield Road is not part of the evaluated project and needs to be considered by the Coordinator-General as part of a Request for Project Change. If approved by the Coordinator-General, the additional connection will be incorporated into the Project. Consultation on the concept design including the additional connection is being undertaken in advance of the Request for Project Change to understand community and stakeholder feedback to inform further planning activities.
Current status Early works are continuing including geotechnical investigations, survey, installation of overhead electrical structures and preparing the detailed design for construction. Major construction at Yeronga station is scheduled to start in late 2020.
