Historical Background:

Sun Master Sales Corporation started in 1982 as a single outlet-single proprietor then

known as Sun Master Tires and Battery Center. Tracing its roots from a long time family

business in the tire and battery industry, the company draws strength and authority from

its experience and exposure.

After seven years of operations, Sun Master expanded its business by opening a world-

wide innovative project of fast auto servicing GOODYEAR SERVITEK – and became an

official Goodyear tire dealer in 1989.

The company further expanded its distribution network in 1999 by opening another

branch in Pasig, GOODYEAR-TYREPRO. The outlet is strategically located in the heart of

Pasig’s business area.

In early 2009, Caltex Chevron, aware of the company’s strength in promoting, distributing,

and serving the needs of automotive consumers, appointed the company as its exclusive and serving the needs of automotive consumers, appointed the company as its exclusive

distributor of automotive oils and lubricants to the areas of Bulacan, CAMANAVA, and

Quezon City. In May 2011, the territory was expanded to include the whole of Metro

Manila area, Bulacan, and Rizal Provinces. With this, Sun Master has completed the trifecta

of automotive products- tires, batteries, and automotive supplies, further building on its

strength in serving the needs of the Filipino automotive community.

In 2012, the company opened its fourth retail outlet, a YOKOHAMA Y-SHOP, operating as

a hub dedicated to serving the automotive needs of its accounts in and around the Quezon

City area.

With over 30 years of providing tires, batteries, and auto services nationwide, Sun

Master’s customer base varies from end-users to resellers, small and medium to large

consumers, from manufacturing, construction, assemblers and almost all types of business

sectors.

Credit goes to the company’s commitment to delivery within 24 hours. To date, Sun

Master’s dedication and hard work has built a network considered to be one of the

biggest and most reliable distributors of automotive products in the Philippines.
