Quiet and Good to the Environment

The f irst thing you notice about the New YEG series

is that there is so little noise. Yanmars own CAE

techniques have gauged the stiffness of materials just

r ight and damped radiant noise.

The all-round people-fr iendliness is obvious in the

exhaust data, too, thanks to the Yanmar GP gaseous

engines.

The New YEG series is kind to the environment.

Beside low noise and emissions, it contains no

as bes tos , mer cu ry, pol yb romi na ted bip hen yl,

polybrominated diphenyl ether or cadmium. T he use

of safe materials was a core theme from the word go.

Compact, Powerful andLong-lasting

Yanmar has a long tradition of producing world-

bea ti ng sm all , h ig h-s pe ed, ha rd-wo rki ng eng ine s.T hei r

combination here with superb 3-phase, 4-wire / single

phase, 2 or 3-wire generators has been tr ied and

tested in many harsh working environments.

The GP are Yanmars state-of-the-art small gaseous

engines, now even more durable than ever due to

enhanced block cooling, stiffer cranks and pistons, and

finer journal and other tolerance. The gensets have

protect ive devices aga inst lubr icat ion oi l pressure

drop, excessive water temperature r ise and faulty

ba tt ery cha rgi ng. The se are ge nse ts th at wil l c ont inu e

to run and run.

Yanmar has developed a remarkab le new shape for

the a i r f low of the combust ion chamber through a

r igorous process of exper imentat ion and analysis. I t

fuel consumpt ion.

The convenience extends to every aspect of u se

and ma in te na nce . You ca n pu t th e li gh t an d

compact New YEG almost anywhere wi thout specia l

foundat ion work, and a l l components are mounted

on the single bed. Specia l ly designed ant i -v ibrat ion
