Quiet and Good to theEnvironment

The f irst thing you notice about the

New YEG series is that there is so

little noise. Yanmars own CAE

techniques have gauged the stiffness

of materials just r ight and damped

radiant noise. Those methods have

als o p roduce d the perfe ct m uffle r

volumes and optimum use of sound

isolation materi als. It all adds up to

extra-low noise that is ideal for use in

urban and residential areas.

The all-round people-fr iendliness is

obvious in the exhaust data, too,

thanks to t he Yanmar TNV engines.

The New YEG150 and YEG200

satisfy E PA Tier 4. They feature even

bet ter flow mixin g in t he m ain chamb er

and t he s peci al mout h a round the

injector, plus eff icient use of incoming

air f or cl ea ner burn ing a nd lo w

emissions.

The New YEG series gives the air and

fuel charging more fluid energy. The

swirl continues during combustion for

even better mixing and lower

emissions.

The New YEG series is kind to the

environment. Beside low noise and

emissions, it contains no asbestos,

mercury, polybrominated biphenyl,

polybrominated diphenyl ether or

cadmium. The use of safe materials

was a core theme from the word go.

Yanmar has a long tradition of

combination here with superb 3-phase,

4-wire generators, tried and tested in

Both the canopy and sound proofed

bonne t ver sio ns a re li ght weig ht a nd

take up very little space.

The TNV are Yanmars state-of-the-

ar t sm all indus tr ial engin es, now even

enhanced block cooling, stiffer cranks

and p isto ns, and f iner jour nal and

other tolerance. The gensets have

protective devices against lubrication

oil pressure drop, excessive water

Specially designed anti-vibration

bloc ks e st ab lish even smo oth er

straightforward daily inspe ction and

handling. The big fuel tank is good

for over 8 hours continuous use at

70% load.

terminals are covered and placed well

way from the instrument panel to

prevent electric shocks etc. An earth

terminal is included. All rotating parts

coils in the b rushless, AVR generation

equalizing wave distortion.
