Mr. Henkin is President and Founder of WTS International, one
of the world’s largest and fastest growing leisure advisory and
operating firms providing services to hotels, resorts, luxury
residential properties, exclusive golf and country clubs, day
spas and real estate developments throughout the United States
and overseas. Mr. Henkin has over four decades of experience
in the planning, design and management of health clubs, spas
and athletic facilities of all types. He has also coordinated and
developed numerous feasibility and needs assessment studies for
prospective spa and health club properties.
Frank Guengerich has been extensively involved in the spa,
health club, and tennis industries for the past 25 years. Mr.
Guengerich has been with WTS International a combined total
of 18 years, starting with the company in 1986. He has been in
executive and leadership roles with other public and private
companies such as Sport and Health, Town Sports International
(NASDAQ-CLUB), and Life Time Fitness (NASDAQ-LTF).
Mr. Guengerich is responsible all aspects relating to facility
operations at WTS affiliated spa, health club, recreation and
leisure sites worldwide.

Lily Tan has been in the wellness industry for the last 30 years.
As WTS’ Vice President, Asia Pacific, she oversees development
and operations for WTS Asia. Ms. Tan is a qualified therapist from
Champneys Tring in the UK and studied architectural and interior
design at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. She has
worked for international retail brands Estée Lauder, Lancôme and
Guerlain in sales, development and staff training. She joined the
Royal Brunei Jerudong Park Medical Centre to manage, train and
develop numerous spas, medical spas, rehabilitation centers and
fitness facilities in Asia. She has worked on conceptual branding,
spa designs, menus, and operations with Accor, Starwood, Marriott,
Urban Group properties, and more. She has won numerous awards
from Minor Group, Travel & Leisure, Shanghai Daily, Spa China and
many more for Mandara Spa, Anantara Spa and Aequalis Spa.
Ann has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry,
primarily in management positions, service, revenue generation
and human resources, both in the United States and China.
Ann facilitated the openings and consultations of luxury spas
in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong and was
the National Manager for a full service luxury spa company
representing Guerlain Paris. She has also been instrumental in
design consultancy work across China, working with hotel flags
including Wyndham Worldwide, Regent Hotels and Resorts,
Hilton Worldwide, along with luxury boutique operators. She
is fluent in English and Chinese, holds a Bachelors Degree
in Accounting and Finance and is a candidate for an MBA in
Accounting.

Kim Matheson was president of her own company, Natural
Resources, for 15 years, offering spa consultancy services
including design and pre-opening support, for a diverse range
of upscale clients. Some of Kim’s recent projects include the
Four Seasons Moscow, Dubai, Disney Orlando and New York,
Dove Mountain Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis Princeville. As
Senior Vice President for WTS based in New York City, Kim’s
primary responsibilities include developing the local market
and new business opportunities while overseeing international
accounts. Kim also assists in the development of new spa
concepts and provides advice to WTS clients on retail sales
and marketing.

Ms. Hammer manages the WTS Spa Division, ensuring
ongoing support for staff and clients. Susie oversees the
pre-opening process, produces spa standards, manages the
WTS Preferred Vendor Program, revenue generation classes,
feasibility studies and operational audits. Susie started
as a marketing intern with WTS in 1996. After receiving
her Marketing and International Business degree, she
began working as a WTS Fitness Director within the Hilton
Corporation, while pursuing a Masters in Health Fitness
Management. In 2000, Susie become the WTS Fitness and
Spa Director for the Westin Resort St. John going on to
become a WTS Spa Director. Susie quickly became a WTS
Regional Account Executive and easily transitioned to a Vice
President of WTS’ Spa Division.

Prior to joining WTS International, Kate Mearns spent 8 years
as Spa Director for The Spa of Colonial Williamsburg. Her
responsibilities included assisting with the opening, training
and day-to-day operations for the spa, salon, and fitness center.
She was able to maintain consistently high guest service scores,
leading the Spa to a Forbes 4 star rating; the only 4 star award
in Virginia. Earlier in her career, Mearns worked closely with a
founding member of the International Spa Association (ISPA),
eventually serving on the Board of Directors, from 2001–2006,
and spent the last two years as Chairman. Mearns has been
featured on the Travel Channel, spoken on spa trends and
research in Bangkok and Singapore, and has written numerous
articles for spa and fitness publications.

As WTS International Director of Spa Operations, Ms. Silver
brings over 20 years experience in the luxury hospitality,
spa and salon industries. She started her career working in
the salon industry, eventually owning and operating her own
salon in Pennsylvania. Melanie then joined the Ritz-Carlton
Hotel Company where she spent the majority of her career
working as the Director of Spa at a luxury resort. Melanie
then joined Columbia Hospitality as the Director of Spa,
eventually working domestically and internationally on spa
consulting, management and all openings. She also spent 2
years as the Director of Rooms for a luxury hotel in Seattle,
Washington.

Andrea Dubois, a Senior Interior Designer for WTS International,
joined the company in 2008. Since graduating from Virginia Tech
with a B.S. in Interior Design, Andrea has worked designing luxury
senior living communities, corporate environments, as well as
healthcare facilities. Some recent projects include The Rittenhouse
Spa & Club, Philadelphia, PA, the new Trump International
Hotel, Washington D.C., The Ivy Hotel, a boutique property in
Baltimore, MD, Kimpton Grand Cayman Resort and Spa, Ritz-
Carlton Xi’an, and Bulgari Hotels in Beijing and Dubai. She has also
worked extensively on spa projects for Marriott International and
Wyndham Worldwide, primarily in the Asia Pacific region. Andrea
is a professionally licensed interior designer and has passed the
National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) exam.

Mary Lynn serves as the lead design associate for key
accounts with the WTS spa, fitness and recreation portfolio.
Mary Lynn brings a wealth of knowledge within the field of
hospitality design. She comes to WTS from the H. Chambers
Company in Baltimore, MD where she was the Senior Interior
Designer for private country clubs. Additionally, Mary Lynn’s
background extends into the health and wellness field,
having worked with several high-end Senior Living facilities
throughout the country to include Independent Living,
Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing units and Dementia Care.
Mary Lynn is a professionally licensed interior designer,
after passing the profession’s benchmark NCIDQ exam for
professional qualification, as well as LEED (Leadership in
Energy and Environmental Design) accredited.
