Lesson Objectives

• Identify groups which you think may have been targets of inequality, prejudice and discrimination.

• Recognise what factors lead to prejudice and discrimination.

• Propose solutions to these problems.

Definition

• STEREOTYPING- Making assumptions based on a which group a person is from.

• DISCRIMINATION- Negative behaviour towards a certain group of people or a person.

• PREJUDICE- Negative behaviour towards someone based on which group they belong to.
