This week is the final stage of the First Holy Communion catch-up for children who began the preparation and due the Pandemic did not finish. For those who have been in contact and attended the special online parents meeting or those who have contacted the Parish Priest directly and received the “green light”, there will be a special meeting involving a chat with a priest about the understanding of the Sacrament followed by First Confession. We have arranged 3 evenings: Monday 20th September at 6.30pm Tuesday 21st September at 6.30pm Wednesday 22nd September at 6.30pm Can you please let me know asap by email which date you prefer to come for Confession? If there is any problem in attending the session, please let the Parish Office know as soon as possible.

NEW UPDATE: The zinc work to the main roof is complete and have passed the watertight

testing. The sanctuary floor is completed and the lights should be in place very soon. The

Church Hall and Extension roof is progressing. The close out programme is promised

imminently, despite the failure to deliver it by the end of August. Some of the scaffolding should

be down by now. We are sorry for the overrun of the project and thank you all for your

patience. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
