Please us about Horwich in 100 words……There are many places in Horwich. The most famous place is Rivington pike, once every single year a big carnival arrives below Rivington pike. When they come that’s when most people walk up Rivington pike. If your lucky you might spot a squirrel, a rabbit or a owl. Most people paint faces on eggs and roll them down the hill and chase them and if you ever go you should try it. Trust me it’s really fun! So you should defiantly give it a go. Aaron and Owen

Station Park is an amusing place to go. It used to be a Train Station years ago and that is where it got the name from. It is a very fun place to go to, and it is handy for me because I live right next to it on the other street. My favorite bit is the walking, spinning wheel and Becky’s favorite thing is the spinning cup. Wouldn’t you like to go? Every year in the Summer the council organize a fun fair for people to come and have fun! Hope we might see you there one day.

Middlebrook is a cool place with a wicked cinema that has tasty popcorn that is toffee flavored. The best film we’ve ever seen is Tangled, because it was very exiting and funny. After you’ve watched your film you can go to Frankie and Benny’s with your friends if you want to or have a meal at magnificent McDonalds just for a drive through. There has recently been an upgrade on Tesco and Argos. We also have a Bolton stadium where Bolton Wanderers play foot ball not very well at the moment!. Middlebrook is a very safe place to go if you want to hang out with your friends.

Look at this park, doesn’t it look amazing it is called Station Park, It used to be a train Station, but now it has been transformed to a magnificent park with some excellent rides! There are beautiful places to walk down streets on a sunny day. In Horwich there are lots of fantastic restaurants like Frankie and Benny’s, also there is Pizza Hut, but don’t forget McDonalds! The entertainment is the best part of Horwich, because it has places like Hollywood Bowl which is fantastic along with Vue Cinema! These places are both located on Middlebrook. Do bring your family down to Horwich, you will love it!

Horwich is a very themed place,

because annually we have our very

own Horwich Morris Dancers who dance for us on Saint George’s day. Every visit, they sell badges with the year

on for us to remember their visit. Sometimes they dance for us for different

occasions, such as carnival day. On carnival day the hole of Horwich dresses up to a theme, for instance the last carnival we had, we all dressed up in the colours of the

Namibian flag. The year before that we all dressed up as Doctor Who characters. There are loads of other

attractions to do with sport, we have a monument that is called ‘The Spirit Of Sport’

Station Park was named after a royal train station that used to be there before Station Park took its place. This Park has 3 parts to it; its football pitch, Old Station Park and New Station Park. The more people, especially teenagers that visit, the more attractions get broke. Station Park is a very good place to have lunch and to play. The most popular attractions are the swings and the spinning worms. Station Park has a lot of scenery and a lot of scenery makes more people happy! Station Park is a very good place because it has a bit for babies and a bit for primary ages. Everyone likes this park because it gives people happy faces.

Please tell us about Horwich in 100 words……Horwich is a small town in the North-West of England. Horwich holds a lot of very important races and carnivals, it also has the enormous stadium of Bolton Wanderers FC. We hold an annual carnival, and in that carnival all the roads are blocked off, because there are races going on and people walk around dressed up. On Saturdays or Sundays it gets really busy near Tesco and around Middle brook (retail park) because Bolton Wanderers are playing, so that means all the police are around which cause traffic jams. Please tell us about Horwich in 100 words……This is the Leisure Centre you can do lots of exciting things to do like Swimming and Street dancing, they are both fun things to do. Meanwhile your Mum and dad can watch you do any thing, they can go to the sweet smelling cafe and enjoy the wonderful foods. You can be amazed by the awesome party’s. They do some spooky and scary ones, and some delightful, peaceful Christmas ones! But don’t worry there are some things for Adult’s like the sweaty Gym and the calm yoga. RidgemontRidgemont is a beautiful place with two large lush fields that selections of dog walkers use. Also there is a cemetery which has graves of in memory of beloved belonging to families in despair. Sadly, over the past few years some despicable people have sabotaged some lovely precious grave stones. In between the cemetery and the fields there is an astonishing building called Ridge Mont house. People celebrate Christmas, Easter and Bonfire night these are extremely exciting events. On the east side of the left field there is a rocky footpath leading down to the entrance of the car park.

Station park is in the small town of Horwich and it use to be a bashed, old train station. At Station Park there is a huge astroturf were sporty people can play football and hockey. It is a fun play area for little toddlers and has two parts. One park one for younger kids and one for teenagers. And the Teenagers do skateboarding on the ramps. On the astroturf at night there are flood lights, so you can see. My friend (Lewis’s) football team train there on Tuesday night under the flood lights. A lot of cyclists go to Station Park to ride their speedy bikes.

Please tell us about Horwich in 100 words……This astounding castle is called Rivington Pike. It is neara forest, and the Chinese Gardens. It was owned by a man who was very rich because of his ingenious plan.Where he created a soap company that made a revolutionof soap. The landscape of the pike is very changeable,and it is a very incredible hike. We went with school. We walked past the river Douglas and some people fell offthe hill. There is a barn . It is very interesting, and people go there for ice cream and souvenirs.The amazing views including the Reebok stadium.

Station park used to be a train station in Victorian times, now it is park to amuse children. There is a park and a big football pitch, people also play hockey on the football

pitch. The is some artifacts in station park like the old wheels that come from an old train you can even touch it and even sit on it. Its great fun on the park and if you think about it it’s really interesting and there is one more park on that park there is more artifacts there is a great big tunnel that’s were the trains use to go but it is blocked off now its on new station park but it is more fun on old station park.

Station Park is a main attraction for kids and maybe some adults the park is called that because there used to be a train station there and that is how it got its name. There are all kinds of things you can do there are two parts of station park one of them is a large park for kids and the other part is a large Astroturf were my football team, St. Mary’s tornadoes train there every Tuesday night. And the other part of it has swigs slides and different climbing frames. And whilst you slow down from wasting most of your energy you could drive down to middlebrook and see the amazing monument of the spirit of sport with pictures of people that have done different tributes to sport there is also a girl from are school called Karris who has here picture on the monument.
