Yayoi was born in Japan in 1939 and made drawings and paintings all her life, even when her parents did not want her to. After attending art school, she moved to New York, where she became friends and made art with important artists such as Andy Warhol and Donald Judd. Yayoi Kusama has had exhibits all over the world and continues to make polka dotted paintings, sculptures, and installations. Construction paper Scissors Glue Q-tips Paint Cut out a pumpkin and its stem from your construction paper. Dip your q-tip into paint and start creating polka dots down your pumpkin. Follow your first set of dots and create smaller dots on your pumpkin. Continue dotting your pumpkin, creating ridges by leaving blank spaces between dots, similar to Kusama. Glue down both parts on another piece of construction paper. To create smaller dots, carefully cut the tip off your q-tip. Dot your pumpkin stem. Use another color to cover your background. Yayoi Kusama es una artista quien crea pinturas, esculturas, instalaciónes, y representaciones, todas cual incluyen puntos polka. Yayoi nació en Japón en 1939 y creó dibujos y pinturas toda su vida incluso cuando sus padres no lo aprobaban.
