A Report on EUPHORIA – 2018 Celebration

Yashwantrao Bhonsale College of Pharmacy in collaboration with Yashwantrao Bhonsale

College of D. Pharmacy celebrated “EUPHORIA-2018” on 28th Jan 2018. The beginning of

Euphoria-2018 was done by celebrating various cultural days like Black & White day, Spects Day,

Saree & Tie day.

On 28th Jan 2018 the celebration started in morning session with warm traditional well-come

of Hon. Executive Chairman Shri. Achyut Sawantbhonsale sir, Hon. President Adv. Mrs. Asmita

Sawantbhonsale Madam, Hon. Administrative coordinator Mrs. Sunetra Phatak madam along with

YBCP Principal Dr. Vijay Jagtap sir. The inauguration of all the cultural competitions was done by

cutting red ribbon by the hands of Hon. Shri. Achyut Sawantbhonsale sir, Executive Chairman of

BKC. For the event of Euphoria-2018 we organized the various cultural competitions in morning

session including Fireless cooking, Vegetable & Fruit Carving, Best out of waste, Doodle Sketching,

Collage Making, Newspaper dressing and Short film making.

The competitions like fireless cooking, Vegetable & Fruit carving were held to develop

innovative ideas and creativity in their mind. In doodle sketching competition students represented

the word “PHARMACY” in different way. Making the best out of waste has been a part of human



life since the early ages. It was the human creative mind that gave birth to this extraordinary idea of

using waste material in a useful way. By taking the same motto in mind we organised the Best out of

Waste, Collage making and Newspaper dressing Competition and all the students of YBCP and

YBCDP gives a huge response to each competition.

All competitions were evaluated to select the best. The fireless cooking and vegetable & Fruit

carving competitions were evaluated by Ms. Hawabi Shaikh, Ms. Sushma Palav evaluated the Best

out of Waste and News Paper Dressing competition. The Doodle Sketching and Collage making

competitions were evaluated by Mr. Prasad Mahale. Mr. Amar Prabhu evaluated the short film

making competition.

Later on all the students of YBCP and YBCDP presented a Short film on student life and

also presentation of Newspaper dressing competition was done in the seminar hall.

The delicious lunch was enjoyed by all staff and students together in BKC mess in a very

disciplined manner.

The afternoon session started with Fishponds in the Auditorium. Fishponds hosted by S. Y. B.

Pharm students Ms. Neha Mete and Ms. Pooja Walawalkar.

The evening session of “EUPHORIA-2018” was held in the Auditorium. All Students dressed

in their ethnic best, it set the mood for the celebration. The tone of decoration was very festive. All

students were actively participated in each activities.

On the occasion of Euphoria-2018, we invited Dr. Tupkar Sir, Principal of Bhaisaheb Sawant

Ayurvedic College, Sawantwadi. As a Guest of Honor.

The students welcomed the dignitaries as per Indian tradition.

The evening session of Euphoria-2018 started with National Anthem by Ms. Aishwarya

Mainkar, Student of Second Year B. Pharm. The cultural coordinator Ms. R. H. Mahabal and

Ms. N. S. Bhosale introduced brief of Euphoria-2018 and welcomed all the dignitaries. Program

proceeded with lamp lightening and all guests were well come by offering bouquet of flowers. On

this gracious occasion Hon. Achyut Sawantbhonsale Sir felicitated Hon. Dr. Tupkar Sir by offering

Shawl and Shriphal along with BKC diary and Calendar as a token of love.



The program proceeded with publication of “PHARMAPHILE” - A Newsletter of YBCP.

Dr.V. A. Jagtap sir highlighted the progress of the College since 2015 and appreciated all the

students for their active participation in sport as well as cultural events.

Later on the distribution of certificates for Sports and Cultural activities 2018 were done by the

auspicious hands of all dignitaries on the stage.



The session was continued by address of Guest of honour Dr. Tupkar sir, wherein he expressed the

happiness that the college imparting quality education to students and also explore the different

upcoming opportunities as a career of pharma students.

At the last, the executive chairman of BKC, Hon. Shri. Achyut Sawantbhonsale sir appreciates the

whole team of YBCP and YBCDP for the successful organisation of EUPHORIA-2018.

Inauguration of the event was hosted by Ms. R. H. Mahabal and Ms. N. S. Bhosale. Further, the

students of YBCP and YBCDP took charge of the podium exploring their anchoring skills on the

stage of EUPHORIA.

As a culture of Indian tradition the program began with “Natrang Stavan” by Ms. Pooja Walavalkar.

Cultural event was a combo pack of songs, Dance, Drama, Mime and the Fashion show.

All events were evaluated by judges to select the best one. EUPHORIA-2018 concluded with the

announcement of best performances in different cultural events. And last but most awaited



announcement: revealing the winners of General Championship which was bagged by the S. Y. B.

Pharmacy students. All the hon. Dignitaries on the dais presented the rolling shield of General

Championship to the winners.

Ms. N. S. Bhosale proposed the vote of thanks and congratulated the team on the success of

Euphoria-2018.
