Accommodations Overview: There are double doors on the aft main deck that open to the saloon; forward of the saloon a starboard corridor leads forward past three steps up to raised pilothouse; continuing forward to port is the on-deck galley. The corridor ends at stairs curving down to stateroom foyer. Looking aft are staterooms to port and starboard, which share the head on port side of foyer. Forward is crew cabin with ensuite head. The master stateroom aft is accessed from stairs at the starboard side of the saloon. The engine room is midship below deck, accessed from port door on side deck. Saloon: The varnished double doors lead from the large aft deck into a charming salon. Focus is on the rich wood table which seats up to eight for dining and can be adjusted to coffee table height. It is flanked by an L shaped settee with stowage underneath; a built in bar and entertainment centre plus other cabinets complete the storage. A highlight of the entire yacht is its lovely, finely detailed, light mahogany interior, including mahogany beamed overheads. The curtains and blinds filter abundant natural light from the eight windows, including two opening side windows. A 4 burner AEG oven with broiler, double stainless steel sinks with filtered water tap, refrigerator and separate freezer plus pantry and dish storage complete the galley. Portholes across the forward bulkhead offer ventilation, light and character. The galley is entered from either side deck and the starboard passageway creates great flow to the saloon dining area, aft deck dining, foredeck or boat deck.

Facing aft, to starboard is a guest cabin featuring a double bed with drawers underneath, an antique secretary, mirror, and large wardrobe with hanging space and shelves. To port is another guest cabin featuring over/under bunks with drawers below, a desk with a mirror and a full-length hanging closet. The foyer closet provides stowage and houses the washing machine. Forward of this is the spacious guest head with a shower, full-size porcelain sink and toilet. Crew Cabin: Entered from the foyer forward or from a deck hatch, the self-contained crew area features a V berth(2 singles), 2 full hanging lockers, cabinets, drawers and an ensuite head with shower, sink and toilet. Master Stateroom: Accessed via a staircase in the saloon, the full-width master stateroom stands alone aft, affording great privacy. The room is enormous, with a double bed to starboard, a single to port, and in the corner a large L shaped desk/vanity with mirrors and cabinets overhead and underneath. A deep closet provides full length hanging space and 3 shelves. Large drawers beneath the beds, and open shelves outboard provide plenty of storage. Soles are teak and holly and in keeping with the spirit of the yacht the overhead is mahogany with beams. Farthest aft on centreline is the ensuite head with shower, large porcelain sink and toilet. Storage is plentiful. All staterooms have natural ventilation through portholes, DC fans, heat, and lights in the overhead, at the vanity and reading lights at each berth. Engine room: Accessible from the port side of the main deck, the engine room is full height and well lighted with easy access to engines, machinery and other systems. The removable sole is Diamond Plate.

Deck Equipment This yacht was custom built to 8mm hull scantlings; consider Lloyds classed vessels require less. In 2000, her hull was sand blasted, taken to bare metal and the hull was replaced where necessary. Two coats of epoxy barrier and two coats of antifouling were applied with an extra coat at the bellyband. Where necessary, topsides and superstructure were ground down to bare metal, sealed and properly finished, then sanded, two coats of primer applied, and two coats of enamel paint applied. The main deck is composed of teak over steel. The foredeck area has the windlass, fender and line stowage rails, plus a hatch to the forward crew cabin. Walk around side decks are covered and lighted. The port side has the door leading to the engine room. The starboard side has the recessed gangway and on-deck hot and cold shower, as well as the ladder leading to the boat deck above. The aft deck with the lovely canoe stern is ¾ covered by the boat deck giving sun and rain protection. Two davits and a passarelle can be used aft. A very large lazarette gives access to steerage, assorted gear and spare parts. Two varnished cabinets flank the aft doorway and a large 54 inch round teak table offers delightful al fresco dining. On the boat deck where the tender is stored, there is a section, which is made of teak; the rest is non skid. There is a large sunning area with an optional sun cover aft of the pilothouse and a smaller sun area forward. She has logged over 5000nm touring the Atlantic and Mediterranean, visiting the Netherlands, UK, Belgium, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece and Turkey. Custom built in Holland to massive scantlings, gale force 10 winds on one voyage did not deter her. The refit work completed in the past two years will enable a new owner to continue to cruise the world over in safety and comfort.

Broker's Remarks Three things that set this motor yacht apart from many other sturdy trawlers in her size and price range are transatlantic range, great deck space, and character, both inside and out. She' balanced outside lines and beautifully crafted interior, reminiscent of a gentleman's club, further distinguish her. In addition, a light, airy galley on the main deck and access to crew quarters from the yacht's interior or exterior enhance her package of contemporary attributes. The outstanding form and function of this strong, go anywhere, "little ship" are particularly valuable considering her price is a fraction of replacement cost.
