Working Principle Coulometric sensor method. Fix the test sample in the middle of test chamber to separate the chamber into upper room and lower room; oxygen flows in upper room and nitrogen flows in lower room; oxygen molecules penetrate through the sample from upper room into nitrogen in lower room, carried by flowing nitrogen to coulometric sensor; the sensor measure the oxygen density of passing mixture gas so as to calculate the oxygen transmission rate. For packaging container test, nitrogen flows inside the container, and air or oxygen is surrounding the container outside.

Working PrincipleCoulometric sensor method.
