Click the email link at the bottom of each page in your web site Administration pages.

DOMAINS

If you have an existing domain URL you would like directed to your XactSite P/T web site, please contact Customer Support at the numbers provided below.

LOG IN TO YOUR XACTSITE CONTACT MANAGER

1. Go to http://xactsite.mris.com

2. Enter your User Name and Password.

3. Click Login. The start page appears.

4. In the left navigation panel,

in “Services”, click Website

CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD

When you first access the system, your password is set to a default. For security reasons,

please change your password immediately.

To change your password:

1. Log into your web site administration site.

2. In the left navigation panel, in My Tools, click Change my Password.

The Change Password screen appears.

3. In New Password, type in your new password.

4. In New Password Confirmation, retype your password exactly as you typed it in the New

Password box.

5. Click Change Password.

6. If your password was changed, you will receive the message “Your Password was updated

successfully!”

PASSWORD REQUIREMENTS When you’re choosing your new password, please keep the following in mind: 1. Passwords are case sensitive 2. Must be between 4 and 16 characters long 3. Must NOT contain spaces 4. Must NOT contain any of these characters: ‘&’, ‘<’, and ‘>’ 5. May be a combination of letters, numbers, and punctuation

Once you have signed in to your administration page, make sure that the information contained

in your personal profile is correct. To access your personal profile:

1. In the top navigation links, click My Profile. The User Summary Information screen appears.

2. Verify the accuracy of the information.

3. To make changes, click Edit. The User Personal Information screen appears.

Some information in this

section will not be editable

as it is fed directly from

MRIS. To update, please log

in to www.mris.com and

click on My Account.

Always click Submit at the

bottom of the screen to

save your changes.

VERIFY YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS

The email address that you

have on file with MRIS is set up

as the default address to which

emails are forwarded through

your website. It’s a good idea to verify that the Primary Email information is correct so that you

can immediately start receiving leads generated by your website. If this email address is

incorrect, please log in to www.mris.com and click My Account to update your email address.

You’ll need to verify your phone numbers and enter any alternate numbers you want to display on your website. If the phone numbers you have on file with MRIS are incorrect, please log in to www.mris.com and click My Account to update your phone numbers.

CHOOSE DISPLAY OPTIONS FOR YOUR WEBSITE

You’ll want to select the way your contact information is displayed on your website. To do so: On your website administration page, in the left navigation panel, select My Tools>My Website. Your Website Control Panel appears; click Edit.

In Contact Information, make the following selections:

In Marketing (Display) Name, enter your name as you want it to appear on your web site home page.

In Preferred Phone, select the phone number you want displayed under your name on every page of your website.

In Display Email, select the email address you want displayed on your website home page.

If you want email sent to an address other than the displayed email, make the selection in Destination Email.

Check the items you want displayed on your website home page.

Always click Submit at the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

UPLOAD YOUR AGENT PHOTO

You can upload an optional personal photo to display on your website. To upload your agent photo: 1. On your website administration page, in the left navigation panel,

select My Tools>My Website. Your Website Control Panel appears; click Edit.

2. In the Website Photo section of Contact Information, click Upload

Photo. The Add Photo window appears.

3. Click Browse to find the photo to upload. The Choose File to Upload window appears.

4. Select the picture to upload and click Open.

5. Observe the optimal

specifications for the picture.

6. In the Add Photo window, click Upload Photo again.

7. Always click Submit at the

bottom of the screen to save your changes.

UPLOAD YOUR LOGO

Unlike your photo, your logo is not optional on your website home page. To upload your

logo:

1. On your website administration page, in the left navigation panel, select My Tools>My

Website. Your Website Control Panel appears; click Edit.

2. In the

Website Logo

section of

Design, click

Upload. The

Add Graphic window appears.

3. Click Browse to find the logo to upload. The Choose File to Upload window appears.

4. Select the logo to upload and click Open.

5. Note the optimal specifications for the graphic.

6. In the Add Graphic window, click Upload Photo

again.

7. In the Website Logo section of Design, click

Select. The Choose Graphic window appears.

8. Select the graphic you want to display on your

website, and click Select.

9. Always click Submit at the bottom of the screen

to save your changes.

CHOOSE YOUR WEBSITE DESIGN TEMPLATE

There are a number of website designs templates from which you can choose. The number of designs available depends on the package you purchased. Each template includes a banner that displays at the top of your website pages. Some templates include a Website Viewport Image, a picture that is displayed in the content area of your home page. To choose your design: 1. On your website administration page, in the left navigation panel, select

My Tools>My Website. Your Website Control Panel appears; click Edit.

2. In the Design section, Design Group reflects the package you have

purchased and controls the number of design templates available to you.

3. In Website Design, click Select to display a window with thumbnail views of the available designs templates.

4. Click the radio button below the thumbnail view of the

template you want to use.

5. Click Submit.

6. You can also choose your design template by displaying the available designs in the drop

down menu and selecting by Design number. There is no preview available when you use this option.

7. For some designs, you can change the banner image. To do so:

a. Click Upload to upload a picture you wish to use as your banner. b. Click Select to choose the image you want to use.

c. Click Submit to save the change.

8. For some designs, you can change the Website Viewport Image. To do so: a. Click Select to choose the image you want to use.

b. Click Submit to save the change.

ADD A WELCOME MESSAGE

Make a visit to your website worthwhile and encourage visitors to come back by making a great

first impression, starting with your welcome message.

To create your home page welcome message:

1. On your website administration page, in the left navigation panel,

select My Tools>My Website. Your Website Control Panel appears.

2. In the Website Content section, under Title, click My Homepage. The Home Page Edit

screen appears.

3. In Content Editor, type your welcome message. Using the WYSIWYG (what you see is what

you get) editor eliminates the need to use HTML.

4. Click Preview to see how your message looks on your website.

5. Click Publish to publish the changes on your website.

ADD CONTENT PAGES

You can add content pages to further customize your website. With XactSite P/T, you can add

custom content pages. For each new contact page you add, a link is added and displayed in

your website’s left navigation panel. To add a new content page:

1. On your website administration page, in the left navigation panel,

select My Tools>My Website. Your Website Control Panel appears.

2. In the Website Content section, click Add New Content. The Article –

Edit screen appears.

3. In Left Navigation Title enter the name of the new content page as it will appear in the left

navigation menu on your website.

4. (Optional) In Left Navigation Alt Text, enter the text your website visitors will see in the

pop-up when they point to

the link in the left

navigation menu.

5. In Browser Title, enter the information to display in the internet browser title bar when a

visitor to your website lands on the new content page.

6. In Sequence, enter the number that corresponds to the order in which the link to this page

will appear in your website’s left navigation menu.

7. Check Display this page if you want the page to be available on your website. Unchecking

the box will prevent the page from displaying on your website. For example, you have a

page regarding an annual event that you want to display for a limited time each year.

Rather than recreating the page each year, check the box when you want the page to

appear and then uncheck it after the annual event is over.

8. In Select a Content Type, choose the type of content you want to display on the page: text,

an external link, or an internal link.

9. Select Enter Content to use the content editor to display text.

10. Click Publish to publish the page on your website.

ENTER KEYWORDS

To help your web site appear in search results when people search for real estate or real estate

information, add keywords to each of your content pages. These are words used by search

engines such as Google and Yahoo to catalogue your website. When a user types any of the

keywords you have entered in a search engine browser, your website will be displayed among

the search results.

1. In Search Engine Keywords, enter multiple keywords separated by commas.

2. In Search Engine Description, enter a short summary of the content of the page. This

summary will display in the search engine results.

ADD LINKS TO YOUR “MY FAVORITE LINKS” PAGE

Your website comes with a page titled, “My Favorite Links.” Here you can add links to other

websites that are useful and helpful to your website visitors. To add links to your My Favorite

Links page:

1. On your website administration page, in the left navigation panel,

select My Tools>My Website. Your Website Control Panel

appears.

2. In the Website Content section, click My Favorite Links. The Link Collection – Edit Page

appears.

3. To edit the title for the Left Navigation link, enter a new title.

4. (Optional) In Left Navigation Alt Text, enter the text your website visitors will see in the

pop-up when they point to the link in the left navigation menu.

5. In Browser Title, enter the information to display in the internet browser title bar when a

visitor to your website lands on the My Favorite Links page.

6. Enter the search engine keyword(s).

7. Enter the search engine description.

8. Uncheck Display this page if you do not want to display the My Favorite Links page.

9. In Sequence, enter the number that corresponds to the order in which the link to the My

Favorite Links page will appear in your website’s left navigation menu.

10. To add a new link, click Add New Link. The new link input fields

appear.

11. Enter the name of the site to which you want to link.

12. Enter the link information.

13. Enter a description for the link.

14. If you have multiple links on your My Favorite Links page, you can enter a sequence number

to determine the order in which your links are displayed on the page.

15. Click Publish at the bottom of the screen to publish the link on the My Favorite Links page

of your website.
