CineGraph, Hamburg, Cineteca del Friuli, Cineteca del Comune di Bologna. MAGIS is focused on the develop-ment of the themes investigated at the Udine International Film Studies Conference, as well as an occasion to

develop a didactic activity directed to PhD candidates, advanced graduate students, and young researchers in gen-eral.

MAGIS is part of the activity of the International Ph.D. Program in Audiovisual Studies: Cinema, VisualArts, Music and Communication (Dottorato internazionale di studi audiovisivi: cinema, arti visive, musica,

comunicazione), established by the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris III in cooperation with Universitàdi Udine, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano and Università degli Studi di Pisa, of the Master
