HUMBLE BEGINNINGS??
HOW THEY GOT STARTED 1990’S
Founded in Dallas, Texas 1981 by Trammell Crow
Following growth merging led Wyndham to rapid expansion
Key mergers that led to expansion included REIT, Patriot American Hospitality (PAH)
Acquired multiple hotel portfolios and renamed them to Wyndham
Following Rapid growth, in 1999 they were faced with the inability to continue growth on their own
Agreed to $1 billion restructuring

•One of the Worlds largest Hospitality companies with over 20 brands and operations in over 100 countries •Over half-million rooms worldwide, including hotel rooms; vacation condos, villas, cottages, bungalows, and campgrounds; city apartments; fractional private residences; and boats•Employ 33,200 people•Total Assets of $10.4 Billion

Days Inn- Motel chain Days Hotel - the full-service
variant found in high-traffic and large cities.
Days Suites - an all-suites variant; may be either full or limited-service.
Days Lodge- a rare variant found formerly in resort and high-traffic locations; now discontinued.

Wyndham Rewards- branded, points-based rewards program for frequent travelers, the biggest rewards system within the industry

Wyndham felt the effects hard after 9/11, as the industry suffered Wyndham resorted to selling off some hotels and halting growth efforts
