LEARN FRENCH QUICKLY Students attend morning lessons in either French or English with a certified English or French language teacher. Class sizes are small, averaging one teacher for every eight students. Afternoons and evenings are spent enjoying a wide range of recreational activities such as canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, ice skating, roller skating, learning to cook international cuisines, and more!
French ImmersionIn the mornings, receive intensive French language instruction from a native French speaker. Because Wynchemna’s classes are so small, you get individualized attention, and can focus on how you need to improve your French. With a maximum 8 students to every one teacher, you can practice your conversation, correct errors, and build your vocabulary every day.

Camping TripFinally, spend one exhilarating week camping in the Rocky Mountains. Enjoy mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, and the hot springs, while enjoying visiting world-famous attractions such as Kananaskis, Banff, Lake Louise, Peyto Lake and the Columbia Icefields.

Wynchemna is a French as a Second Language Programme in Calgary set between the Prairies and the Rockies. Wynchemna provides a unique opportunity to learn French in one of the most beautiful natural settings in the world. Wynchemna’s philosophy is that people should enjoy acquiring a second language. We accomplish this through a unique combination of intensive classroom instruction and recreational activities.
