I can’t believe it is Week 10 already and the holidays are nearly upon us. Before we get to holidays though, we have a fun and busy week ahead! Today we had our final Healthy Skills for Life lessons and our girls soccer team played against Rathmines. Tomorrow our BroSpeak and SistaSpeak groups will go on an excursion to Mannering Park PS and all classes will have their final athletics lesson from Sports in Schools. Thursday is Reward Day. It is also the day school reports will go home and our school disco is on that night. Sporting Superstars! We have two very talented sports girls amongst our Year 6 cohort. Mia Letham will soon be competing at the NSW PSSA State Championships. She has also been called up to train with the Northern NSW emerging Jets. What an honour! Mia Watts has been selected to represent the 12 years Lakes Wyong Coasties on a netball tour in New Zealand later in the year. Next term we will be holding a mufti day fundraiser to raise funds for the girls to support them and assist with the costs of their sporting pursuits. Congratulations to both of you. Wyee Colour Run Today all students will be receiving a pamphlet and an information note about our school Colour Run next term. More information will come out next term but you can start getting sponsors now! Ask all the family and friends you see in the school holidays, every dollar counts. Have a great week everyone. Dear Parents/Caregivers,

Wow! I can’t believe it is Week 10 already and the holidays are

nearly upon us. Before we get to holidays though, we have a fun and

busy week ahead! Today we had our final Healthy Skills for Life

Public Speaking Finals for all students will be

held this Wednesday 28th June in the school

Library. Times are as follows:

Early Stage 1/ Stage 1—9.30am

Athletics Carnival

Our Athletics Carnival will be held on

Tuesday 25th July at Mingara Athletics

Field. Students may travel by bus organised

by the school or may travel with parents. ALL

students must return a permission note to

the school, with appropriate payment, on or

before Friday 21st July. Costs are as

follows:

Entry only (travelling with parent) $5.00

Bus and Entry $10.00

Dojo Winner 5/6B

Kiara requested Mrs Coleman to accompany

her to Yoga for her Dojo reward. 5/6B found

it very amusing but were surprised Mrs

Coleman could do (some) of the poses.

Water Safety

Last Monday students from Kinder, Year 3

and Year 6 participated in a Community

Water Safety Education Program delivered

by Surf Life Saving Volunteers. Year 6

students participated in, and practiced vital

CPR techniques.
