The Club
• We meet one Monday a month. We eat together, we have programme every meeting, we talk about Zonta and we enjoy meeting

Clubmembers in varying ages• The Vänersborg Zontaclub has the pleasure of having both younger and more mature members.
• Frida, in the baby carriage, is the youngest and she participates together with her mother Karin (in the middle)
• Ann-Marie is the more mature member in the club

• The club every year oppoints a young woman for the YWPA-scholarship

The Female Profile of the Year• Through the years the club has oppointed one woman each year to be The Female Profile of the Year.
• This decoration is given to a woman who is an example to others

Information
• During our Zontameetings there are pictures been taken.
• In the evening, directly after the meeting, the pictures are put together with information from the evening. This document is the same evening sent to all clubmembers by e-mail.
• After the Zontameeting a short memo is put together. The information is put in the local newspaper for members and public to read.

• We get knowledge through lectures from members in other Zontaclubs
• We also get knowledge through our own clubmembers

We have a lot of lecturers in the club
• Lena Ericson, from our own club, tells us about her visits and work in Omaruru, Namibia
• Ingrid Rylander constantly informs us about our homepage and the importance of keeping oureself informed

• The medical doctor Alena Novac tell us about her work within ”Medecins Sans Frontieres”
• Elin inform about her trip to India and her work there. A trip that was sponsored by our club

• The club of cource contributes to the Zonta international projects

• The film is about the only woman bombsquadron ever and they operated during the World War II.

The Female Profile 2011
• Agnes Carlsson, or just Agnes, was appointed The Female Profile 2011. Agnes is from Vänersborg and a famous singer with hits like ”Release me”

Our goals 2013-2014
• To be at least 45 members
• Recruit at least one new member a year
• Be the network for woman where we develope our Zonta-engagement local, national and interntional
• Encrease our knowledge of woman life-environment local, national and internationel
• Support young woman in there carrer and development through for exemple Zonta-scholarship
• Increase knowledge about Zonta outside the clubmembers
• Support the lokal woman shelter
