Graduate Entry Medicine Year 1 Funding
• Tuition Fee Loan available - £5,535
• Must consider how to Self Fund the remaining
tuition fees of - £3,465
• Income assessed Maintenance Loan (up to £5,500 in Wales)
• Supplementary Grants (PLA, ADG, CC)
- apply to SFE or SFW
• No NHS support provided
• No PCDL (nor in year two)

FEES:
• NHS Tuition Fee Bursary - £3,465
• Tuition Fee Loan for the remaining £5,535
(apply to SFE or SFW)

• NHS Grant - £1,000 (not means tested)
• NHS Means Tested Bursary (up to circa £4,443 – 14/15)

• Professional Career Development Loan? (Y3 & Y4)

Swansea University Hardship Fund
• Not a source of funding
• Eligible for UK and EU students who suffer unforeseen
financial difficulties
• Must be able to show they had budgeted for all living
and tuition fee costs
• International Students can apply to a separate Fund
