• 2002: Center for Responsible LendingNon-partisan advocacy and research organization that works to

protect homeownership and family wealth by fighting predatory lending practices.

• Self-Help Credit Union (1984)Includes CUs that have served NC since as early as 1944.

• 60,000 members• 20 branches• $560 million in deposits

• Self-Help Federal Credit Union (2008)Created to bring together a statewide network of credit union

branches in California. Includes institutions that have served California since as early as 1936 and Chicago since 1882.
