The National Occupational Standards have been:
• streamlined• simplified• written in plain English• presented in a standardised format

As a part of the NOS review Lantra is undertaking research to:
– gauge the size, structure and workforce characteristics of the trees and timber industry
– look at industry specific skills and training issues.
The research findings will identify issues and current practice.
