• American industry was revitalized by the war, and by 1945 many sectors were oriented to defense production.
• People in the Soviet Union weren’t able to get food unless they worked some way for the war effort.
FOODAmount of food was smaller than WWIIn order to buy food, coupon was needed, money was not accepted. Even rich people cannot get the food they wanted.
