    CAVS QUICK FACTS

 After a 4-0 series sweep over the Toronto Raptors, the defending NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers are back in the Eastern Conference Finals for the third straight season and seventh time overall (1976, 1992, 2007, 2009, 2015, 2016, 2017). During the 2016-17 regular season, Cleveland won three of the four matchups against the Boston Celtics, averaging 122.0 points in the three victories. This is the seventh postseason meeting between the Cavs and Celtics, and just the second time the two teams have met in the conference finals (1976).

 The Cavaliers (8-0 in 2017 Playoffs) are the first team in NBA history to start 8-0 in consecutive playoffs. Last year, Cleveland won its first 10 playoff games en route to their first ever NBA title and finished with a 16-5 postseason record. Since Game 5 of the 2016 NBA Finals, the Cavaliers have won a franchise- record 11 straight postseason games. (Elias Sports Bureau)

 MILESTONE ALERT: LeBron James (371 STL) is 6 steals shy of passing Michael Jordan (376 STL) for 2nd all-time in NBA Playoff history. James (5,847 PTS) is also 141 points away from passing Jordan (5,987 PTS) as the top scorer in NBA postseason history. Kyrie Irving (65 STL) needs 3 steals to pass Anderson Varejao (67 STL) for the 2nd-most steals in the Cavaliers playoff record book.

 Going back to the 2015 postseason, the Cavs hold a 32-4 playoff record against Eastern Conference opponents (15-3 mark on the road over that span).

 In the Semifinals win over Toronto, the Cavs won by an average margin of 15.3 points (116.3-101.0) and made at least 13 three-pointers in all four games.

 Cleveland is connecting on a franchise-playoff record 114.5 points per game this postseason, the 2nd-most among all 16 playoff teams. The Cavs also lead this year’s postseason in three-pointers per game (14.4) and three-point percentage (.434, 115-265).

 LeBron James is averaging a team-high 34.4 points on .557 shooting from the field (.468 3FG%), 9.0 rebounds, 7.1 assists, 2.13 steals and 1.50 blocks in 42.4 minutes. He is the first player in NBA Playoff history to tally at least 275 points, 70 rebounds and 50 assists in a team’s first eight playoff games. His 275 points through eight playoff games are also the most by a player since Michael Jordan in 1992 (291). (Elias Sports Bureau)

 LeBron James has scored at least 30 points in six straight playoff games (April 15-May 7), the longest of his postseason career. He is the first player to score 30+ points in six straight playoff games since Kobe Bryant in 2010. In the 4-0 sweep over Toronto in the Semifinals, James became the first player in NBA history to score 35 or more points in every game of a four-game sweep. Against the Raptors, he averaged 36.0 points on .573 (43-75) shooting, including .481 (13-27) from three-point range, .833 (45-54) from the foul line, 8.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 block in 41.0 minutes. (Elias Sports Bureau)

 Kyrie Irving had at least nine assists in three of the four games against Toronto, which includes back-to-back games with at least 20 points and 10 assists for the first time of his NBA career (Games 1 and 2). Over the four-game series versus the Raptors, Irving averaged 22.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, a team-high 8.5 assists and 2.0 steals in 34.3 minutes.

 Tristan Thompson has 39 offensive rebounds, the 2nd-most in this year’s playoffs. He is averaging a team-high 10.6 rebounds, including 4.9 on the offensive end. He also pulled down at least 10 boards in six of the eight postseason contests.

 Over the last two playoff games, Kyle Korver averaged 16.0 points on .733 (11-15) shooting from the field, including .667 (8-12) from beyond the arc, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 25.0 minutes.
