REJECT ROD ADWTMENT - Open phonograph dame assembly and remove the program holder, then close dome assembly. - Depress rcject button firmly. Viewing SLUG REJECTOR through the dome assembly, verify that the BRACKET and CAM ASSEMBLY is ful ly depressed with 1/4" of the reject button remaining.

- Should adjustment of f he REJECT ROD be necessary, loosen REJECT ROD ADJUSTING NUTS and posit ion the REJECT ROD as required fo r proper operation. Tighten REJECT ROD ADJUSTING NUTS.

Be sure that the phonograph is positioned on a level surface pr io r to making any adjustments to - rhe SLUG REJECTOR MOUNTING PLATE. Should it be necessary to compensate for uneven footing, t h e following methods may be used.

- 1. Side ta s i d e Ieveling of the plronograph may be accomplisl~ed by placing blocks o r strips

under the casters on t h e low side of the cabinet. Check SLUG REJECTOR fo r proper coin acceptance. -

NOTE Access to all MOUhTING SCREWS is accomplished by lifting the RETAINING SPRING, moving the top of t h e SLUG REJECTOR to the left then lifting out.

Tension of the long movable blades must be sufficient to hold the coin sw itch paddles against bottom of slug cejectar .

The stiffener blades should be set to / provide -060 to ,070 opening between contacts of shor t and long movable contact b lades .

stifEeners with suffic rent tens ion to nrevent vibration. This should be I

1 1/2 ta 2 grams on the 5, 10 and 25 cent blades and 3 to 5 grams on the

- 50 cent blade.

- The tension of the long movable blades should be adjusted so a thin coin, when stopped on it's coin paddle by holding t h e paddle up, wil l upon releasing t h e paddle, actuate the movable bIade, close the contacts then clear paddle.

- 1 . Install SLUG REJECTOR ia pilonagraph and apply power .

- 2. Test each individual coin track ten consecutive times with coin of varied wear. If a coin faiIs to register, that pa r t i cu la r coin switch should be examined and, if necessary,

rcadjus ted , Check SLUG REJECTOR for proper alignment.

- ELECTRONIC BONUS ACCUMULATOR

- The Electronic Bonus Accumulator, hexeinafter rererred t o as BO/AC, is a solid stare electronic credit accumulator designed t o provide a method of credit accumulation, both standard and bonus, resulting f rom the depos icing of coinage of all denominations . It

The base of the Program Cards are slotted to prevent improper insertion when installing Program Cards in the BO/AC .

The following procedure wi l l provide access to the lower side d the RECORD CHANGER:

A . Unlock and raise the UPPER DOOR ASSEMBLY t o its full height.

Disconnect the SERVICE DOOR SPEAKER and U M P PLUGS.

Unhook the two SERVICE DOOR FALL SUPPORT CI-IAINS at the cabinet end . Lift the SERVICE J300R out af the c alsinet .

E. Remove the two WING NUTS to free the RECORD CFIANGER.

F. Pul l the RECORD CHANGER forward, then lift the fsont of the RECORD CHANGER. The spring loaded PALL SUPPORTS wi l l drop into position to support the RECORD CHANGER.

- G . To return the RECORD CHANGER t o its normal operating position, lift the front a£ the RECORD CHANGER then depress t h e FALL SUPPORT EXTEN- SIONS a n d lower the RECORD CI-IANGER. Push the RECORD *
