Is the hardest to codify, but is the most efficient & effective type for innovative organizations.

Easiest way to rapidly transfer new knowledge.

Written, or codified, information.

Is documented in manuals, instructions, books, etc.

Easy to codify; most effective for organizations in “survival” mode –those who do they same processes over and over.

KM tools allow leaders to make high-impact, real-time decisions based on data – not subjective “guesstimates”… similar to the warning on your car’s dashboard when you’re out of gas.
