Conclusion: According to 2007 national data, 9.8% of students from the lowest family income quartile received bachelor’s degrees by age 24. This compares to 18.3% of students from the second income quartile, 33.4% of students from the third income quartile and 75.9% of students from the top income quartile who had received bachelor’s degrees by age 24.
