I am responsible.
When anyone,
anywhere, reaches
out for help, I want
the hand of AA
always to be there.
And for that:
I am responsible
Officer Reports
DELEGATE'S REPORT
I have given a couple of Delegate's Reports and have a couple coming up. I
hope to have the schedule posted on the web site soon.
I want to thank Districts 10, 6, 20, and 11 for the great turn out and reception
on Sunday, June 12th in Ellensburg. It is always helpful when Districts are able to get
together for a Conference report. It saves the Area some money and cuts down on
my travel time. It's also fun to get together with friends in the program. The desserts
are always good!
My next trip is to Bend, Oregon for PNC, the Pacific Northwest Conference
which is being held from June 24th through June 26th. It is the oldest continuous
service conference in North America and is being kept alive by the support of the
members of Area 58 (Oregon) and our Area. Thanks to all who are planning to go
and who are participating in panels and discussions. It is a very rewarding and
informative conference, and we a lot of fun. Next year, PNC will be in our Area and
hopefully you will all have an opportunity to come.
In July I will be at the Yak Campout and I am really looking forward to
attending. My schedule has not allowed me to come until this year, so I'm rarin' to
go. In August I will be attending the additional forum at Woodland Hills. That is a
forum like the Pacific Regional Forum and there will be participants from all over the
Pacific Region and representatives from the General Service Office. I have been
asked to speak on "The Changing Culture of AA". If anyone has any comments on
that subject, send them to me. In August I will also be giving a Delegate's Report in
Spokane Valley and hope that Districts 13, 2, 3, and 8 will be attending.
I also want to thank the folks who attended the Colfax/Boyer Park campout
for the warm reception and interesting discussion we shared on AA and it's
future.
Finally, the Local Forum is consuming a bit of my time this summer. I am
still looking for additional panel members for the gay/lesbian/transgender panel and
the hard of hearing panel. If you know of someone who has quit coming to meetings
because they can't hear the discussion and would be willing to participate on the
panel on September 10th in Richland, please have them contact me. You can reach
me using the number or email in the Area directory or through the email on the web
page: area92aa.org.
In love and service, jamie

PLANNED AREA EVENTS
Alt Delegates/Registrar Report
Ahhhh! Here we are again the 15th of the month. Time to reflect on what I have been doing in AA. Well
honestly not much. I continue to work with Dist 11 and we are moving right along and look forward to see
where the Dist 11 HP is taking us. I attended the Delegates Report in Ellensburg and as usual Jamie did a
wonderful job. Very informative. I will be attending the PNC In Bend Or. and of course the Quarterly in
Wenatchee. On a more personal note my life has become a wonderful journey in which I owe a lot to this
Area for allowing me to serve over the past few years. My life continues to unfold I find that my future is truly
up to the grace of a HP. I know where I have been, I know where I am but I have no clue where I am going and
I love it!
Registrar Report. Keep the changes coming and remember I need to following information Group Number and
name any changes being made. To list a new GSR/primary contact I MUST have ALL the information full
name address with zip code, phone number and e-mail if they have one. Without an address I cannot update
the contact information.

Share from the Chair
Hellooooooo Area 92! Wow, what an exciting month I‟ve had since the last newsletter! It‟s evident
that you all are out there working and carrying the message to the next suffering alcoholic. It has been really
wonderful getting your District reports each month, keeping me informed and allowing me to keep our
Delegate informed on the happenings in the Area.
Planning has begun for the PNC (Pacific Northwest Conference) for 2012. The Chair and Co-Chair
have been appointed. Carol N. and Fern W. have taken charge and are making advances. Site selection is
going on at this time and it appears that the location will be in Walla Walla or Tri-Cities area. More will be
revealed! (little chuckle here) Speaking of PNC, I hope to see many of you at the PNC in Bend, OR. The 24th
to the 26th of June. As you all know, this is the oldest conference in AA and it began in 1948. Come enjoy the
fellowship and get information on the happenings concerning the General Service Conference.
You may be interested in where I‟ve been since the last newsletter. Here you go:
I attended the wedding for Jerry W., DCM District 20, on the 22nd of May as planned. Rick, one of our
members, officiated the beautiful ceremony. Again, congratulations Jerry!
Over Memorial Day weekend, (27th – 29th of May) I attended the IX Annual Washington State
Hispanic Convention held in Yakima this year and hosted by our own District 25. Saul and the volunteers that
worked on the committees did a great job putting on the convention.
June 12th I enjoyed a nice Harley ride to the Delegates report in Ellensberg. Districts 6, 10, 12, and 20
participated in the event. Jamie gave a phenomenal presentation and the deserts were, well, you know,
delicious. I encourage you to get Jamie scheduled to get this report! Your Districts and the fellowship will get
the answers they‟ve been waiting for!
Upcoming through August events so fare are:
June 18th, Combined Quarterly Workshop, hosted by District 5 in Wenatchee, WA.
June 24-26, The PNC (Pacific Northwest Conference) in Bend OR.
July 8th or 9th, Delegates Report District 14 at Yaak River Campground.
July 15th -16th, Area Quarterly, District 21 host in Wenatchee, WA.
August 6, Delegates Report in Spokane, WA.
August 19 -21, Pacific Regional Forum, Woodland Hills, CA.
Once again, I am reminding you about our Local Forum, September 9th & 10th 2011. The fliers have
been sent out, posted to the web site and volunteers are still needed. Of particular interest to me are folks to
translate to and from Spanish and sign language people. Carrying the message is our 12th step responsibility
and crossing cultural and language barriers are part of that. Come, help out and bring someone along! See you
all soon.
Humble in loving service, Jeff S.

Newsletter Editor
Hello everyone. June has been fairly busy with the newsletter and the PNC committee. I attended the Stand-
ing Committee Workshop in Wenatchee on the 18th. It was a productive workshop with great fellowship and
food as usual. Thanks to District 5 for hosting this vital service event. I will be attending the PNC at the end
of June and am looking forward to fellowship and sharing in Bend. I will be back in Wenatchee in July for the
quarterly and am looking forward to seeing all your lovely faces.
Thank you for sharing in my sobriety.
Yours in grateful service,
Carol N.
PNC Chairs
Greetings from the fledgling PNC Committee. We have been in the process of site selection as Jeff alluded to
in his report and as he mentioned, Walla Walla will be the site for 2012‟s PNC. We have chosen Walla Walla
Community College as the venue, they offer spacious and pleasant facilities that meet our needs nicely. We
are seeking an appropriate host hotel site at this time and are in negotiations with the college‟s food service
director on the catering and menu options.
If you or anyone you know is interested in becoming involved in this committee please contact Fern W.,
[email protected], or Carol N., [email protected]. We would be happy to hear from you.
We will be bringing save the date flyers to the PNC in Bend. Please put June 22 - 24 on your calendars for
next year.
Yours in grateful service,
Fern W. and Carol N

DCM and District Reports
District 8 I just returned home after a long road trip to visit friends and family in Los Angeles. I drove down with a
friend and the desert was very green for this late in the year. We even drove through a snow shower near the
Continental Divide in Montana! The weather report was calling for 3 inches of snow so we high-tailed it on
down the highway as fast as was reasonably safe.
It was very pleasant in the San Fernando Valley with temperatures in the low-mid 70s during the day and a
jacket was advisable in the late evening as the temperatures dropped down into the high 40s.
Sobriety has been everything but boring for this erstwhile alcoholic! This road trip is another example of His
grace and the miracle of sobriety.
I attended a meeting at the Unit A Meeting Hall in N Hollywood. It was great to reconnect with old friends and
meet new friends as well. I attended another meeting at the Veterans Hospital in West Los Angeles where my
journey began on 12/06/1995. I had a ball and was able to speak with some folks in service down there. The
inter-group committee seems to be strong and hard at work carrying the message to the still suffering
alcoholic.
I want to send a special thank you to Ty and Tom. They drove for all the way to
Coeur d‟ Alene to attend the District 8 meeting on Tuesday May 10, 2011 and gave a very informative and
helpful presentation on the 7th Tradition. Thank you Ty and Tom! Your service to Area 92 is greatly
appreciated!
I plan to attend the July Quarterly in Wenatchee. The Local Forum is scheduled for September 9 and 10 in
Richland, WA and the flyer is being distributed in various newsletters including the District Eye (District 8). I
hope to see many of you at the Quarterly and at the Local Forum.
District 8 will team up with districts 2, 3, 13 and 17 sometime in August 2011 for a Delegate Report. This
should prove to be fun. The date, time and site where this event will take place will be announced soon.
That‟s all for now.
YIS,
David

Greetings from District 5,
When I was young and just didn‟t want to get out of bed on those lazy summer days, mama would
say „you‟re missing the best part of the day.‟ If I didn‟t agree and jump out of bed I‟d get doused with water.
Today, I hear myself echoing my mamma‟s words „cause she was right! Summer seems to have arrived, and
in Wenatchee we can now start every day with a morning meeting!
The Attitude Adjustment Hour, our newest meeting, is now open M-F at 6:30am in the outdoor patio
of Bella Bistro, Wenatchee‟s newest coffee house on Orondo Street across from Memorial Park. Other
morning meetings are Sisters of Courage for women on Saturday mornings at the United Methodist Church
on the corner of Washington and Miller Streets, 11:00 to 12:00pm; the Apple Capitol meeting on Sunday
mornings at Central Washington Hospital 9:30am to 10:30am in room A-B near the Cafeteria; and Celebrate,
another meeting for women also at the United Methodist Church on the corner of Washington and Miller
Streets from 10:00am to 11:30am.
Whether you‟re visiting, passing through or live anywhere in District 5 make it an even better day by
helping us perpetuate the gift, enthusiasm for this thing we call Alcoholics Anonymous.
Yours in Service,
Jean P. District 5, Newsletter Chair
District 14
I heard a rumor that the Yaak Campground was washed out...NOT TRUE. The Troy/ Bonners Ferry Campout
will be happening July 8-10. Jamie will give a Delegate's report Saturday at the Potluck. There will not be a
projector, but feel free to draw diagrams in the dirt with a stick.
There will be a gathering at Smith Lake (North of Bonners) on July 4th. June's events- the Rock and Roll
Party and the Gypsy Bay Pig Roast were a hoot. Big thanks to the Beaver, and to Darren's All Star Rockin'
Porch Band. And the Pig.
I've gone to Bonners Ferry and Troy to find out what we can do to serve them better. We're trying to get a
meeting together, and I should have more to share at the Quarterly in Wenatchee. Grateful to be in Service,
Terry O

District 19 DCM Report for Area 92
We are going to have the Delegate report with District 5 and I think one or two others after the Quarterly next
month, I will attend unless my work gets in the way.
As the District stands we have some same issues of not getting positions filled. Contributions are steady. We
pay our bills and send money to keep the message and hand of AA there.
I am thrilled however that new life blood of the program is great to see. We have people who are taking
schedules into hospitals and treatment centers.
We are talking about having a raffle this year at our Unity Gratitude Banquet.
Looking forward to seeing you all in a few weeks!

been selected as the 2012 PNC co-chairs and we have been diligently looking for a reasonably priced site to

Look Beyond the Horizon
My workshop stands on a hill back of our home. Looking over the valley, I see the village community house
where our local group meets. Beyond the circle of my horizon lies the whole world of A.A.
The unity of A.A. is the most cherished quality our Society has. Our lives, the lives of all to come, depend
squarely upon it. Without unity, the heart of A.A. would cease to beat; our world arteries would no longer
carry the life-giving grace of God.
