Enajori.com from India is recognised as one of the most innovative e-contentproducts worldwide at the UN-based World Summit Award (WSA)
Salzburg, September 17, 2013
By winning a World Summit Award (WSA) in e-Culture & Tourism, enajori.com from Indiais recognized as being one of the most innovative, technically advanced and perfectly
designed e-content products worldwide. Enajori.com competed against 461 outstandingICT ventures and applications from 168 countries. The products were tested from Aug.29 to Aug. 31 in Estonia’s capital city, Tallinn, and enajori.com was selected as one of the 40 best ICT ventures by the WSA Grand Jury. The jury members, 17 high class IT-professionals, are a team of e-content expertscome from all continents and have diversebackgrounds as industry leaders, researchers, social entrepreneurs and journalists.
Enajori.com is a popular e-venture from Assam, the north eastern state of India which is
working in digitization of Assamese culture and heritage through is portal
www.enajori.com. The objective of this project is to promote the cultural heritage of Assam worldwide.
enajori.com had to go through several stages before the winning of the Award waspronounced. Each of the 461 ventures that made it to the Grand Jury had already won anational World Summit Award in its home country in one of the eight categories of theWSA.

enajori.com competed against every other winner in e-Culture & Tourism, judged bythe Grand Jury in Tallinn which was supported by WSA’S partner organizations in Estonia.In a three day process, the WSA first created a shortlist of about 15 ventures in each
category and finally decided on 40 winners; five in each of the eight categories.
