Step 1 — Battery

The battery compartment is locatedon the bottom of the camera asshown. To access the battery slidethe compartment switch from LOCKto OPEN.

Before operating on device, ensurethat the camera is powered off andthe surface of operation is clean andfree of dirt or other obstructions.

Step 2

Push back the blue tab releasing thebattery which should spring forth onits own.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

To insert replacement, depress theblue tab again inserting the batteryas shown until the blue tab springsback into place. Ensure battery issecure, close the batterycompartment and return the latch tothe LOCK position.

The replacement battery must meetspecifications declared by Sony.
