To Write Love on Her Arms Will Host a Unique Booth at a Local Festival
To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) is a nonprofit organization in the United States that provides mental health support and assistance and strives to create an open-minded and hopeful future for those suffering with any kind of mental illness.
What:Ithaca College’s student-run chapter of TWLOHA will host its first henna booth at the 32nd annual Ithaca Apple Festival.
Where: The corner of Cayuga and Buffalo Street, Ithaca Commons, Ithaca, NY, 14850
When: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Oct. 3-5
Who: TWLOHA’s eboard and general members will volunteer at the henna booth to write the word “LOVE” on people’s arms with a henna pen, free of charge.
Why: The organization's eboard decided to host a henna booth for the event not only to spread affection and kindness, but also to serve as a reminder that Ithaca College’s chapter of TWLOHA is a resource for mental illness support and assistance.
