An evening for people interested in creative writing will be held at Inverkeithing Library, Heritage and Civic Centre on Friday 3 rd December, 7.30-9pm. Supported by Fife Council’s Celebrating Fife programme, the event will be hosted by Inverkeithing Writers’ Group tutor, Gabriel McNeil, who will be discussing the benefits of creative writing for health and wellbeing and for promoting community spirit. Gabriel will also be talking about and reading extracts from her own novel The Pipes Are Calling, which started life when she herself attended a creative writing group in Fife. She explained:- “I just want people to come along, have a glass of wine and enjoy sharing the experience of creative writing. It will be a very relaxed and informal evening. I hope there will be a little audience participation, too!” Kirsteen Sloane will also be talking about life-long learning and celebrating the work of the WEA in Fife over the last century. Write in Fife!

An evening for people interested in creative writing will be held at Inverkeithing Library,

Heritage and Civic Centre on Friday 3rd December, 7.30-9pm. Supported by Fife Council’s

Celebrating Fife programme, the event will be hosted by Inverkeithing Writers’ Group tutor,

Gabriel McNeil, who will be discussing the benefits of creative writing for health and
